Juicing For Fighting And Preventing Cancer

By Pat Garcia

More and more, those who have been diagnosed with cancer are choosing to heal their bodies naturally and are opting to use alternative treatments for healing cancer. Juicing has proven to be a very effective way to help the body rid itself of cancer cells. People have been juicing to treat cancer naturally for decades, although it is just now increasing in popularity.

Juice therapy is an effective way to rid the body of cancerous cells. This is because there are many cancer killing nutrients found in certain fruits and vegetables. So what are these nutrients and what fruits and vegetables contain these nutrients? This article will discuss just that.

It is first important to note that these items must be consumed or juiced raw in order to get the full benefits. It is also important to get organic fruits and vegetables since todays farming practices include the heavy use of pesticides and other dangerous artificial chemicals.

First, there are cruciferous vegetables. These vegetables contain very powerful anti cancer properties. Some cruciferous vegetables are collard greens, kale, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli and turnip.

Beta carotene is another powerful ingredient found in foods that fight cancer. Carrots are a very well known source of beta carotene. Other sources of this nutrient include romain lettuce, dandilion greens, spinach, collard greens, hot peppers, red peppers, yellow peppers, chili peppers and turnip greens.

Proanthocyanidins are another powerful cancer fighting nutrient. These are more commonly called PAC's. Rich, dark colored foods typically contain PAC's. These foods include beets, cherries, purple grapes, blueberries, plums, and dark leafy greens.

Other foods that have high cancer killing properties include red raspberries, black raspberries, pineapple, tomato and strawberry.

There are also bottled juices that are power packed with cancer fighting nutrients. Please research the brands and only go with the best. Recommended bottled juices include Noni, Mangosteen, Acai and Goji Berry juices.

It is important to note that in order for juice treatments to truly be effective, the person must have a diet that does not include artificial chemicals, meat products or dairy products. - 30427
